Belief.cabar.asia presents #BeliefTalks – a series of speeches of representatives of various faiths of Kyrgyzstan, which was held as part of the interfaith festival “Listen to who is nearby”. The event was dedicated to the development of interfaith harmony and tolerance between representatives of various religious organizations of Kyrgyzstan.
Andrei Polishchuk talks about how sports unite people, despite their religious and national affiliation. He shows his admiration for athletes who, despite their nationality and religion, speak and represent the honor of Kyrgyzstan.
The conference brought together representatives of 16 religious organizations – members of the Interfaith Council of Kyrgyzstan, which operates with the support of the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is a platform for building dialogue between religious organizations, state bodies, and the public. Because the citizens of Kyrgyzstan, first of all, are the inhabitants of our beautiful country.
This event was held in the framework of the implementation of the Concept of the state policy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the religious sphere for 2014-2020, with the aim of developing approaches to strengthen interfaith dialogue, principles of respect for various views and beliefs, human rights and freedoms, tolerance and tolerance, prevention of radicalism and extremism.
The event was organized by the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek and the Representative Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting IWPR Kyrgyzstan.
